Track 4: Crowdsourcing and social media for disaster & crisis management

In this track, we solicit contributions from researchers and practitioners that focus on using crowdsourcing and social media for disaster management. We invite submissions of unpublished and original research in these aspects. Topics of interest include, but not limited to, the following topics:

• Crowd sourcing

• Coordination, collaboration and decision support technologies and systems for disaster management

• Social media and networks

• Querying and filtering on heterogeneous, multi-source streaming disaster data

• Human-system interactive information extraction
